Music Video Project

In groups of up to 8 students, create a music video about a physics concept. Any physics concept can be covered in any method. Groups may cross classes, however, levels must remain together. This means that all members of a group must be in either advanced or honors. The music video must meet the following criteria:

  1. More than 3 minutes but less than 6 minutes
  2. Lyrics must be appropriate for a school environment; this means PG-13 or less.
  3. Content must be appropriate for a school environment: PG-13 or less
  4. Any physics concept is acceptable.
  5. If lyrics are difficult to understand, subtitles must be included.
  6. Any type of music is acceptable.
  7. Any video that does not have lyrics that describe the physics must write up a description of the physics covered in their video.
  8. Final Product must be uploaded to You Tube and an email link sent to teacher@taylorphysics.org

Important Dates

  1. Due date is 5/24/2010. Each school day (not class day) the video is late will cause the grade to be reduced 1 letter grade.
  2. An email by one member of each group with a list of the members, the physics concept and initial plan for the video must be received by Friday, May 7, 2010.
